We love pretty things.

the people

Hey there! My name is Ashley. I’ll be honest here. No one would ever describe me as “outdoorsy”. Bugs and I aren’t friends, I’m easily overheated, and you will find me frequently dousing myself in SPF as my shade of fair doesn’t mix well with the sun. But if there’s one thing I love, it’s something pretty. Maybe it’s a dessert, book cover, craft cocktail, or some freshly picked flowers.

I am lucky enough to spend most of my time at home with my two young daughters. My husband, resident handyman, and biggest supporter, Chase, agreed to take on all the projects I had in mind for turning our family home into a flower farm. None of this would be possible without him.

the name

I never got to meet my sister, Whitney. Born 12/15/1983, she passed away at 6 weeks old from a heart defect.

Flash forward to 2019, I’m pregnant with our first child. She ended up being born on Whitney’s birthday, exactly 36 years later.

Some things in life just can’t be made up. We decided to name our farm after the sister I never had, but who I knew was looking down on us.

the flowers

Locally sourcing flowers means you can support small business and get the highest quality farm-fresh flowers.

Around 80% of cut flowers sold in the USA are imported from other countries. With the lengths they have to travel, this means they’ve been cut sometimes weeks before arriving, need chemical preservatives, and then have a shorter vase-life.

I am fortunate enough now to be able to utilize our own property to bring fresh and local specialty flowers to my community.
